The James Pitts Band is a project helmed by guitarist and songwriter James Pitts. Known for his remarkable skills on the 6-strings, and for his nuanced, genuine song craft, James set out to create songs in the vein of classic blues rock.


His warm and heartfelt tone tips the hat to charismatic performers such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, and even the great Jimi Hendrix.


This award-winning artist managed to charm the audiences, and the media alike, as his music was covered very favorably by media such as Blues Tone Magazine. Recently, The James Pitts Band released their long-awaited new album, “Come To Play The Blues.” The new record was released on July 18th, marking the beginning of a new chapter for this talented artist.


James Pitts has been called a "masterful guitarist, strong songwriter and a monster musician" by Blues Tone Magazine. Winner of the 2018 Granite State Blues Challenge and Winner of the 2019 Blues Tone - Blues Rock Artist Of The Year Award among others.


James has been a professional musician for more than half of his life now gigging for the last 25 years. He’s shared the stage with many of his heroes including Eric Gales, Johnny Winter, Little Milton, Popa Chubby, Pat Travers, Luther Guitar Jr Johnson and even actor/comedian Bill Murray to name a few.
